Will this oil clog my scalp or hair follicles?
When applied correctly and washed out properly, our blend is designed to nourish — not block — follicles. Castor oil is thicker than most, so a little goes a long way; focus on the mid-lengths and ends, and keep scalp application light. Always follow with a thorough shampoo to remove any residue.

Can I use it directly on my scalp?
Yes. Apply a few drops to the scalp, massage gently, and keep the amount modest — especially if your scalp tends to run oily. Concentrating excess oil at the roots without washing it out can lead to build-up over time, so use a light hand and cleanse well.

Does the oil need to be diluted?
No additional dilution is needed;  the formula already combines castor oil with lighter carrier oils (grapeseed, sunflower) to improve spreadability and absorption. If you have a sensitive scalp or fine hair, you may choose to blend a small amount with your regular conditioner before applying.

How long should I leave it on?
For a standard treatment, 30–60 minutes is sufficient for the oils to absorb and condition. Extended leave-in times (up to a few hours) can be used occasionally for a deeper treatment. Overnight use is possible but not necessary for most hair types ;  if you do use it overnight, protect your pillow with a towel or silk pillowcase or the hair wrap that we can provide.  ensure a thorough wash-out in the morning if you notice residues..

I have an oily scalp — is this oil suitable for me?
Yes, with care. Apply sparingly to the scalp and concentrate more product on the hair ends, where hair is typically drier. Wash out completely after your treatment session rather than leaving it in, and avoid applying too frequently ;  1–2 times per week is a good starting point. Monitor how your scalp responds and adjust accordingly.

How do I prevent product build-up?
Use the minimum amount needed ;  typically quick lines without squeezing too much the container If you notice heaviness or residue between washes, reduce frequency or quantity.

When should I stop use?
In the unlikely case that you experience any scalp irritation, redness, or discomfort discountinue. As with any topical product, if symptoms persist, consult a healthcare professional or dermatologist.
